Judge Finalizes Dismissal of Lawsuit Against Tether and Bitfinex as Plaintiff Withdraws Appeal

In a recent development, Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York rejected Shawn Dolifka's request to amend his class action lawsuit against Tether and Bitfinex. 

Subsequently, Dolifka chose not to contest this decision, leading to the final dismissal of his lawsuit in favor of Tether and Bitfinex. 

This outcome marks a stark contrast to Dolifka's initial decision to pursue the lawsuit. 

His allegations were found to be without merit, and further legal action would not have yielded any financial or other benefits for Dolifka or his legal team. 

Tether and Bitfinex reiterate their stance against opportunistic lawsuits aimed at financial gain.
